I don't know about all of you but I am ready for the sun to come shining through!  My whole well being is in need of some natural vitamin D, so bring it on or should I say bring it out. 

DRILL BABY DRILL

The unrest around the world is about to add havoc to our already fragile economy here at home. With gas prices threatening to soar above five dollars a gallon, the ripple effect will bring most American families to their knees.  The cost of commuting to work combined with  the rising cost of already inflated food prices will overwhelm both families and senior citizens alike whom are already struggling to make ends meet.  It's agreed that we need to find an alterative way to fuel our cars and heat our homes, we should demand this! I stand with the majority on that point,  I am with the minority in my belief that we need to DRILL NOW and I believe we should DEMAND this as well!  We have to stand on our own and stop fueling dictators, radical groups and all those whom don't stand for humanity! We need to go Green and preserve this land for all that inhabit it, making it a better place for the children of tomorrow. I am afraid if we don't stop our dependance and change our direction of self destruction the children of tomorrow may not know the freedoms that we enjoy today!  Veronica

LOOKING THROUGH CLEAR EYES

Is your vision blurry? If so maybe your just like me,  one whom sometimes refuses to admit what their eyes are seeing or what the mind already knows because it contradicts what the heart is feeling.  It's hard to let go of a belief especially if your rooting for someone to find their way in making their life a better place by not revisiting the mistakes of the pass.  Learning the hard way is not always easy but then their comes a time when you must LOOK THROUGH CLEAR EYES  and realize those were your hopes and not theirs.  So feel blessed for sharing a brief friendship, wish them luck, health and happiness and in the future hopefully our vision will be 20/20!

TIME TO PUSH!

I can see that I need a little motivation, looking for a source at times can be hard....As I am enjoying my third cup of coffee I realize how much time has escaped me this morning, I am usually a morning person but this cold weather has left me lacking my usually get up and go!  I have so much to do and time moves quickly as is life! I know I need to reach deep and find the source of my motivation within myself, TIME TO PUSH!  Starting tomorrow, for sure!

SUPERBOWL SUNDAY

Superbowl Sunday has finally arrived and I am spending my morning in the kitchen prepping for tonight's bash.  This family will be rooting on the Packers and enjoying our traditional Superbowl Sunday spread....Buffalo Wings, Taco's, Italian Subs, Sausage and Peppers, Asian Chicken Wings and all the extras! I could only imagine how much more exciting this day would have been if our hometown team the NY JETS could have completed their awesome comeback and been in the Superbowl!!!  NEXT YEAR for sure!!!!

SNOWING AGAIN!!!!!

I am beginning to believe the snow will never end this year!  It's hard to believe less then 3 days ago I was laying by the pool enjoying the rays in sunny Orlando!! This is definitely one of those days when you wish you could turn back the hands of time, what I would give to be back on the Royal Caribbeans Radiance of the Sea sipping a Margaretta!  If you have never cruised then you must do it! This was my first and I am hooked! Reaching back for another song title I had the time of my LIFE!  Veronica

HOPING TO GO CRUISING

I am finger nail biting...I am set to leave on the 27th for my first cruise...exciting yes, so your wondering why the panic...good ole Mother Nature is threatening a huge storm for the Northeast...depending on whom you talk to, it could be much of nothing or a blizzard for the records...of course the days are up in the air too...will it start Tuesday and end sometime Wednesday or will it be my nightmare and start Wednesday and run into Thursday...since I have to fly from Newark to Tampa I'm so hoping it's the Tuesday, Wednesday scenario!  So please keep your fingers cross for me and hope I and my "BESTEST" friend get to set sail!....Veronica

GOOD MORNING

The mornings are truly my  favorite time of day.....I love to start off either at the gym or running through town...cold work mornings like today find me chilin with a delicious cup of Mary's Kitchen Signature Blend Gourmet Coffee and enjoying my favorite breakfast...two egg whites, taylor ham and peanut butter on rye toast....perfect morning!....VeroniCA

My Friday

Today I will be celebrating my version of TGIF...Since I work retail in NJ, Saturday is my Friday....This has been a very busy Holiday Season for both my full time job and our Mary's Kitchen...although the MK website is not fully up, our corporate accounts kept us quite busy this year...So with today being the last day of those dreaded Holiday exchanges, I say TGIS and look forward to a somewhat relaxing Sunday!....Veronica

SNOW

It's snowing this morning in Warwick, NY...their not predicting a blizzard but they are calling for enough to cause havoc on the roadways...So what do you do when you live an hour away from work and unfourtantley public transportation or carpooling is not an option.....I sit with a hot cup of Mary's Kitchen Coffee and watch the forecast!...Veronica

NEW YEARS RESOLUTION
