Hi, I'm Helena and with my sister Veronica, I started a business called Mary's Kitchen. My sister and I started the dream for our Mother, she had always wanted to start her own business, she said, "A" good gift basket filled with quality foods would be nice to receive, wouldn't it? It was talked about but never came to be, we lost our Mom six years ago, so my sister and I started that dream for our Mom. Mary's Kitchen is not about making a million or anything like that it's about honoring our Mom's dream. It's been full of excitement at times, especially when we received an order this summer for 175 gift baskets! There have also been disappointments, the struggling economy has hurt many small businesses, ours included. We both feel we have started something that will not only take off one day but will be a long lasting tribute to our incredible Mother, not only because each basket is filled with the finest quality gourmet foods but for the love we feel each time we put together an order for Mary's Kitchen. There is a sense of pride and accomplishment with every order we fill, I know our Mom would be proud of both us and the company named in her honor. I wish we would have done this sooner, she would have enjoyed it.
